Sapporo Teine
Lessons & Guiding

As the venue for the alpine events during the 1972 Winter Olympics, Sapporo Teine is one of Hokkaido's most iconic ski resorts. The resort combines Olympic history with varied terrain, an excellent terrain park, and the family-friendly Teine Olympia area, complete with its iconic Ferris wheel overlooking the slopes.

 

This is one of our favourite ski areas for teaching beginners, for teaching park and freestyle (both ski and snowboard), and for hunting higher angles and deeper powder.

Powder guiding

Powder guiding at Sapporo Teine is available with hotel pickup in Sapporo and Otaru. During main season, a half day rates start at ¥85,000 and full day starts at ¥100,000

Snowsport lessons

Teine has an excellent variety of terrain, with some long, mellow runs and some great steeper groomed and ungroommed areas. We love teaching here. Rates start at ¥60,000 for a half day and ¥90,000 for a day during the main season
